⚾🥎Just a REMINDER: Kirby Youth Association (KYA) Registration Forms were sent home already. I do have extra forms in the office. If your child/children would like to participate in Baseball, Softball or Tee-Ball, please fill the form out and return it with money by Wednesday, January 31, 2024. KYA will have a meeting in the Kirby School Cafeteria on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 6 PM
Kirby School District is still on a 2 hour delay. Main roads are ok but we are using extra precautions. If you feel your road is not safe to travel and you can't get your child to school safely, absences will be excused. Please use caution when getting out and driving.
Kirby School District will have a 2 hour delay in the morning. School will start at 10:00am. This will give administration ample time to make sure roads are safe to travel in the morning due to uncertainty in the weather forecast for tonight. If any further changes are necessary, that decision will be made in the morning
We will be monitoring the weather tonight and into the early morning for potential hazardous weather conditions that could impact the operation of the campuses tomorrow. The forecast for our area indicates possible ice issues that could affect rural roads and highways within Kirby School District. If by chance we make a decision to close campuses tomorrow, that decision will be made as soon as possible which could be potentially early in the morning.
Kirby School District will be closed Friday, January 19, 2024 due to unsafe road conditions within the school district. We will hopefully resume classes Monday, January 22, 2024.
Tonight's basketball games vs Blevins have been canceled. We will make them up on a later date.
