Happy Administrative Professionals Day to 4 of the best! Thank you all for your hard work and dedication to Kirby School! District office staff Melissa Turner and Jessica Pinkerton, Elementary Secretary Kristina Reid and High School Secretary Lisa Miller. They all go above and beyond their job titles and we appreciate everything that they do! PTCO is treating them to lunch and they also received some other goodies!
Today's Baseball and Softball games at Mt.Ida have been cancelled due to field conditions. Games will be rescheduled!
7-10 grade students will be taking the State Mandated ACT Aspire tests this week Monday -Wednesday. Please make sure students are on time and bring their charged Chromebook. Please make sure they are charged before coming to school. There will be incentives for students arriving on time with their charged Chromebook daily. There will also be incentives for students that score well on tests.

Livestock Show Meeting for anyone interested tonight 6PM in the Agri Building!
Today we celebrated National Paraprofessional Appreciation Day! We treated them with desserts and goodies! We are so thankful for all they do!! KHS paras: Jaime Johnson, Carrie Jo Cook and Jack Stuard. KES paras: Stephanie Forrest, JoAnn Copeland, Stephanie Dearing, Mary Hollifield, and Amber Epperson.
Kirby School Athletic Physicals will be on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022 in the Health Clinic room beside my office. Heather Funderburk, APRN will be doing these physicals for FREE! Any student who is going to be playing basketball, baseball, softball, golf, cheerleading, etc. during the upcoming 2022-2023 school year will have to have a sports physical completed and on file at school before they can participate in any sporting event. If your child receives their physical at a different location, please send a copy to me. IF you want your child(ren) to be seen for their physical on campus on May 3rd , please call/text me at 870-223-2711 or 870-398-4211 ext. 4 so I can put their name on the list to be seen. Parents/Guardians DO NOT have to be present. This is only for those who will be in 7-12 grades in the 2022-2023 school year.

Yesterday we celebrated National Librarian Day at Kirby School! We are blessed to have Scarlett Reid as our Librarian and Stephanie Forrest as the aide! Thank you both for all you do for Kirby students and staff!
April 7-Livestock meeting in the FFA/Agri building @ 6PM. Anyone wanting to show livestock is encouraged to attend.
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on Thursday, April 7th from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm.
School will dismiss at 1:00 pm.
