Kirby School District is on a 2 hr delay today. School will start at 10:00am this morning. Bus routes, highways, and many of the rural roads in our district have been inspected by our SRO and Transportation Director. School delays and cancellation decisions regarding inclement weather are tough sometimes, but Kirby School District always has the safety of our staff and students at heart. Thank you for understanding and look forward to seeing everyone at school today.

As winter weather approaches, we will continue to monitor the latest forecasts this evening for the most accurate timing of the system. Please keep in mind Kirby School District uses text messaging, Facebook (Kirby School District), and our district website and app to make notifications of school closures or delays. Thank you for your patience in understanding the difficulty to predict and that school closure notifications are made as quickly as possible while keeping student and staff safety our top priority.
