The Kirby Senior Girls Basketball Team would like to give a huge shout out and Thank You to Mrs. Lori Wozniak, a Modern Woodmen of America Financial Representative, for the generous donation to our athletic program!!

Due to a basketball game conflict with PTC on November 7, PTC will be rescheduled for November 21 from 4:00-7:00 pm. School will dismiss and buses will run at 2:45 pm. on November 21.

Its Gameday for the Sr teams against Bradley at home! Sr girls will start at 5:00 then its redemption time for the Sr boys right after! You will not want to miss that game! Go Trojans!!

This morning our Food Pantry/Backpack Program was blessed to receive a $9,000 Grant from the Olds Foundation. As of right now, we help out 55 students K-12 by sending a bag home with food items for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Pictured below are students who help with the stocking, organizing and packing of the bags. Danielle O'Neal, Jasmine Vivona, Jocee Culpepper, and Taylor Kelley and Nurse Alissa Kelley.

Congratulations to the Kirby High School Robotics Team!!! They competed today in the 2019 BEST Robotics Competition at Parkview Magnet School in Little Rock! They finished today with a 2nd Place in Interview, 3rd Place in Robot Performance, the Arkansas Travelers Award for traveling the longest distance to the competition and 3rd Place in BEST Robotics which combines scores from all components of the competition! The Kirby High School Robotics team will be advancing to the BEST Regional Competition in Dallas, Texas on December 5-7!!! Way to go Mr. Reed and all of Kirby Robotics!!!!

Its GAMEDAY for the Jr boys and Sr teams. They will travel down to Nevada High School to take on the Blue Jays starting at 5:00! Bus is leaving at 3:15!

If your child's class is having a Halloween party 🎃, please get with your child's homeroom teacher with class party times and questions. Friday will be Trojan Enrichment Friday. Both Sr teams came away with big wins tonight over Emerson. Next week we get a less busier week with just one game. The Jr Boys and Sr teams will travel to Nevada on Tuesday, the 29th with games starting at 5:00. Have a great weekend!
