After looking at the revised weather forecast, Kirby School District will remain closed on Thursday, February 24th. We will return to our normal schedule on Monday, February 28th.
Kirby School District will have a 2 hour delay Thursday, February 24. We will continue to monitor the weather overnight and in the morning and will update with any changes.
After consulting with local authorities, Kirby School District has decided to release at 10:00 am so we can ensure the safety of our students and bus drivers. We will continue to monitor the weather for the remainder of the week and be sure to update everyone when possible. Stay warm and stay safe!

REMINDERS:
-School will release at 3:00 on Monday, February 14 and Wednesday, February 16 due to Kirby School District hosting the 1A-7 Senior District Tournament.
-Friday, February 18, there will be a spaghetti dinner in the cafeteria to benefit the Chance and Jamie Reid family starting at 5:00pm and throughout the District Finals games.
-Senior Boys Senior Night will be held on Monday, Feb 14th @ 8:30pm.
-Senior Girls Senior Night will be held on Wednesday, Feb 16th @ 7:00pm.

4th - 6th Grade Musical Update
Reminder: Softball and Baseball forms and fees due tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 8. Baseball teams will be with the Nashville League playing various nights at different places.The season will start March 28th and end by May 27th. Softball will be with the Kimery League at Hot Springs. 8U will play on Monday nights, 10U on Tuesday Nights, 12U on Thursday Nights, and 14U on Friday nights. The Season will start April 4 and end late May or early June dependent on rain out days.
The basketball games for Thursday, Feb 3rd vs Murfreesboro at Kirby have been cancelled!
Reminder: For deadline and registration purposes, KYA (Baseball, Softball, & TBall) forms & money need turned in by this Friday, February 4.
Kirby School District will be utilizing an AMI day on Thursday, February 3rd, 2022 due to potential hazardous winter weather in our area. Assignments will be sent home with students today for Elementary. High School students will have assignments posted on their Google Classrooms. The status of the basketball game vs Murfreesboro will be announced at a later time, depending on the weather conditions.
Baseball and Softball Season will be starting soon. Kirby Youth Association (KYA) Meeting will be Friday, February 4, 2022 @ 6 PM in the Kirby School Cafeteria.
