Fall Semester Honor Roll

I know that rapid tests are hard to come by now and that some drs offices are out/ running low. I have rapid tests at school and can test anyone if needed. Please call the school during school hours or my cell at 870-223-2711 to ask any questions or for a time to be tested. ~ Nurse Alissa

Kirby School District will be returning back to school Tuesday. Masks are optional but highly recommended. Masks are available if any staff or student needs one. Please stay home or keep your child home if they are showing any signs of sickness: fever, cough, sore throat, headache, etc. Nurse Alissa will be available for any questions.

Kirby School District will utilizing our Alternative Methods of Instruction or AMI days on Tuesday, January 11th through Thursday, January 13th due to the large amount of students who are testing positive for Covid-19 or are being placed in quarantine. We will return to campus on Tuesday, January 18th, after the already scheduled Martin Luthur King Jr. Holiday. The basketball games scheduled for Thursday, January 13th vs Mt. Ida have been cancelled.
Safety is our#1 goal for all of our staff and students. With that being said, during these AMI days, all school buildings, INCLUDING THE GYMNASIUM, will be closed to everyone.
We will be revisiting and evaluating our mask policy during Wednesday's Regular Board Meeting. We will let our staff, students, & parents/guardians know the board's decision once it is made.
Our school nurse and POC Alissa Kelley will be available by phone (870)223-2711 during these times. **If anyone is your household tests positive, is awaiting test results or is exposed to a positive case please call Nurse Alissa as soon as possible. If you have a child or family member who is positive, quarantined or sick, please do your part in trying to STOP the spread of this fasting moving virus.
Students in High School will have their school assignments posted within their Google Classrooms and students in Elementary have AMI packets that are being sent home.
