🐦✨ Calling All Bird Watchers—Help Kirby Students Track Hummingbirds! Our students have created vibrant hummingbird feeders across campus, and now we’re expanding the project into the community!

📍 See a hummingbird anywhere—in your yard, at the park, or near town? 📸 Snap a photo or jot down the time and location 📝 Report it using our [Hummingbird Sighting Form] https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdJJpckYGk3ZhWiEbWse2ognthpfgRN5E9HY0PekkU7sobC5w/viewform?usp=dialog

Every sighting helps our students collect real-world data on migration and habitat—and shows how learning can take flight beyond the classroom.

Our Tremendous Trojans this week are a Cloe and Jacob!

Cloe has been working hard and is always ready to help others. She sets a good example by sharing and following directions! She is also one of our great readers with over 100,000 words read already! Way to go, Cloe!

Jacob was nominated for being very attentive and helpful. His teacher says he is a hard worker, and he is always kind. You are a great example, Jacob!

🔬 Science – Identifying hummingbird species
🎨 Art – Drawing and painting hummingbirds
📚 Reading – Exploring bird-themed stories
🗺️ Social Studies – Mapping migration routes
📊 Math – Graphing feeder visits and migration data
📖 Library – Conducting hummingbird research

This hands-on project connects students to nature, builds observation skills, and fosters conservation awareness. 🌿💡
