REMINDERS: 🏀 Peewee Basketball Forms(Grades 3-6) are DUE Thursday, October 3. 📣 Peewee Cheer Forms (Grades K-6) are DUE Thursday, October 3.
✯Friday, October 4 8-12 PM is Trojan Enrichment Friday. This is a great opportunity for students who need extra help in a subject or need to make up a day they have missed.
Tomorrow is October 1st and you know what that means! KIRBY TROJAN basketball is coming soon!!! Join us on the 17th for a cookout and the Maroon and Gray games! Gate entry is monetary donations and/or towels and detergent for the Jr and Sr high teams.
Deadline Reminder: ALL vaccines must be up to date by October 7th. Letters were mailed out in August and also again this month to those students who need vaccines. If you have a question about whether or not your child is up to date, please call me at the school at 870-398-4211. Thank you! Nurse Alissa
We would like to thank Sgt. Jones and the Army National Guard for feeding our staff at school this evening!!
As Kirby School District K-12 Nurse, my job includes providing health care through assessment, intervention, and follow-up for all students in the school. Along with the teachers and staff, we have only the students best interest in mind which includes staying healthy, staying in class, and having very little absences due to health related issues.
Sometimes it is in the best interest of the student, teachers and classmates that if I have a health concern, I will refer the child to be seen by a physician before returning to school.
ALL screenings that I do are conducted in a manner that respects the confidentiality of each student.

Peewee basketball forms will be going home with students in grades 3rd-6th. If they plan to play basketball, we need their form returned by Thursday, Oct. 3rd. Forms can be turned in at the office.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are this Thursday, September 26 from 4-7 PM. School will dismiss @ 2:45 PM this day.
3rd Trojan Enrichment Friday will be this Friday, Sept. 27 from 8-12 PM.

The deadline to register for the Oct. 26th ACT is this Friday. Mrs. Tolleson has fee waivers in her office. Every Junior or Senior that qualifies for free/reduced lunch can fill out a waiver twice for a free ACT. Feel free to contact us with any questions.
